Fierce battle underway north of Bakhmut

“Currently, a fierce battle is taking place north of Bakhmut, which commenced during the night. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are gradually advancing, facing a heavy artillery and mortar attack from the enemy. Our forces are responding with artillery fire, and enemy aircraft are also involved in the conflict. The occupiers are fiercely defending Bakhmut, and although we are inflicting damage on the enemy, we have also suffered losses. The General Staff of Ukraine will provide more detailed information later,” as stated by Sazonov.

• On June 3, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that the situation in Bakhmut is relatively stable, but it was noted that Wagner PMC has not yet withdrawn from the city. They conducted training activities with the units of the regular army that had arrived.
