Situation in Bakhmut is relatively stable, Wagner troops haven’t left yet 

Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar reported this on Telegram.

According to Maliar, in the Bakhmut sector, invading Russian soldiers tried to regain their lost positions, but were unsuccessful.

Russian mercenaries from Wagner's military company have not left Bakhmut completely. As of today, they are conducting instructional work with the regular army units that have arrived.

• On May 20, the leader of the Russian Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, released a video with a statement about the alleged complete occupation of the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut by Russians.

• On May 25, the terrorist announced the beginning of the withdrawal of his units from Bakhmut.

• According to Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar, as of the evening of May 31, the outskirts of Bakhmut in the southwestern part of the city remain under the control of the Defense Forces. The Armed Forces also control the entrance to the city.

• According to Maliar, the enemy's offensive activity in the Bakhmut direction has stopped, but the occupiers have increased the number of artillery attacks.

• On the morning of June 1, Prigozhin posted a video in which he stated that most of his fighters were leaving Bakhmut for the rear areas.

• On June 2, Prigozhin stated that the escape routes from Bakhmut for his fighters were mined by representatives of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

• On June 3, it was reported that the Russian command was redeploying airborne troops in Bakhmut to replace the Wagner forces.
