Explosions in Crimean Feodosia may repeat, Ukrainian military says
In the temporarily occupied territory of Feodosia, there is a possibility of repeated explosions similar to the ones that occurred tonight. This is due to the presence of an oil depot controlled by Russia in the area
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the joint coordination center of Ukraine’s South Defense Forces, shared the information on Radio Liberty.
She noted that the explosions that occurred at night in Feodosia resemble those that recently took place near Sevastopol.
"It is clear that they will defend this direction. And it is clear that the enemy's logistics are concentrated to some extent in these places. And the supply of fuel and lubricants is a very important component of combat readiness. That's why more explosions will come. It is inevitable," said Humeniuk.
In Feodosia, Russian occupying forces have reportedly built a large oil depot where they can keep huge reserves for their Black Sea Fleet.
At the same time, the head does not rule out that the explosions near Novorossiysk in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai could be a provocation.
Earlier, on the night of August 3-4, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Feodosia, Crimea. Russia's Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of a drone attack.
