The head of the occupation authorities of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the ammunition in the warehouse also detonated

According to him, there were no casualties or damage. However, people within a 5-kilometer radius are being evacuated.

"As a result of an attack by an enemy drone on Krasnogvardeysky district, an ammunition depot detonated. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. A decision was made to evacuate the population within a radius of 5 kilometers from the place of emergency to temporary accommodation centers," the statement said.

The occupying Russian forces also suspended traffic on the Crimean railway "to minimize risks".

Earlier, Aksyonov reported a drone attack on infrastructure facilities on the peninsula.

"The enemy made an attempt to attack infrastructure facilities in Krasnogvardeysky district of the Republic of Crimea using UAVs. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are on the spot to eliminate possible consequences. All specialized services are working," he wrote.

The local TV channel "NS/Simferopol'' noted that several drones allegedly attacked an oil depot and airfield in the village of Oktiabrske, located in the central part of the peninsula. Ammunition was detonated there.

In addition, the Russian TV channel ASTRA reported that a fire also broke out at the Elevatorna railway station in Oktiabrske.

Earlier, the Highway Information Center reported on the situation on the road approaches to the Crimean bridge, and said that the traffic on the Crimean bridge was temporarily blocked.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine take responsibility

The Strategic Communications Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed its involvement in the attacks at 12:58 p.m.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed an oil depot and warehouses of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied Oktiabrske (Krasnogvardiyskiy district of Crimea)," the StratCom statement said.
