Another 13 Ukrainian-made ammunition authorized for use in Ukrainian Armed Forces
Over the past two weeks, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense has authorized 13 more munitions for use in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. They were successfully tested in combat-like conditions
This was reported to ArmyInform by Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk.
"Among the ammunition approved for use by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine over the past two weeks are 9 types of ammunition for UAVs: multi-purpose, combined action, high-explosive, and cumulative fragmentation. In addition, 4 more types of ammunition for under-barrel grenade launchers have been approved. These are the developments of domestic enterprises that have confirmed their tactical and technical characteristics in conditions close to combat," he said.
According to the general, 15 samples of military equipment and weapons were codified during the same period, including a robotic ground attack system, a 40-mm automatic grenade launcher, tactical means of radio interference with barrage munitions and 7 unmanned aerial systems of various modifications.
In addition, tests of several samples of FPV UAVs, a 120-mm grenade launcher, an anti-personnel hand grenade, and a domestically produced mine trawl have been completed. Testing of small arms, including new models of machine guns, is ongoing, the deputy minister noted.
In August, Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense reported that a new drone with artificial intelligence and automatic flight mode was approved to be used in the army.
