Ukraine’s army adopts domestic drone with artificial intelligence
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported that a new drone with artificial intelligence and automatic flight mode has been put into service in the army
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.
"The SkyKnight 2 drone manufacturer submitted its development to the Ministry of Defense when the accelerated procedure for obtaining approval for operation began. The Defense Ministry accompanied the company in the process of preparing the necessary documentation," the statement said.
The drone is easy to operate and has a maximum payload of 2.5kg. In addition, the Ministry of Defense noted its speed and power, and stressed that, despite this, it is quite quiet.
"When the operator identifies the target to be hit, the drone will fly to it automatically, as it is already controlled by an on-board computer. Even if communication is lost due to enemy jamming, the drone will still reach the target defined by the operator," the agency said.
