Air defense for Ukraine is among top issues: Zelenskyy on talks in Washington
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has emphasized that talks in Washington are crucial, and one of the most important issues will be the supply of air defense systems for the Armed Forces
Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram.
"Last night, Russian terrorists delivered another massive attack. In particular, on the infrastructure. Most of the missiles were shot down. But only the majority. Not all of them. I am grateful to the rescuers who immediately began to eliminate the consequences of the hits. I am also grateful to every country that has already provided Ukraine with anti-missile systems. We are working to completely deprive Russia of its terrorist potential," the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
In Washington, Zelenskyy will ask for more air defense to protect peaceful Ukrainian settlements and equipment to the frontline. Another important issue will be the imposition of more sanctions on the aggressor country.
"More air defense. More sanctions. More support for Ukrainian soldiers on the front line.
Russian terror must lose," the President of Ukraine called for.
