Zurich authorities cancel Pyvovarov's concert, calling him far-right for helping AFU
The concert venue and local authorities in Zurich have canceled the performance of popular Ukrainian musician Artem Pyvovarov, citing the photo reports of his aid to Ukraine's army
Artem Pyvovarov posted this on Instagram.
On June 5, the musician was scheduled to give a concert in Zurich. The day before the event, the concert venue announced the cancellation of the performance.
“We faced a situation where the local authorities, together with the concert venue where our concert was to take place, canceled the concert the day before it was to take place, calling me a far-right radical, referring to video and photo reports of us helping our military. We are at war in our country! And I, witnessing the constant shelling of my country, dedicate myself to the popularization of Ukrainian culture!” the musician said.
He emphasized that he holds all his concerts to bring victory closer. Through his performances, Pyvovarov raises funds to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
“How can you call this support for far-right ideology when you yourself are an opponent of it? So now everyone who defends our country, from the president to a volunteer, is a far-right radical?” Pyvovarov was outraged.
He said that the concert was not canceled, but moved from the Dynamo concert venue to another venue - Salmen. Pyvovarov suggests that this reason is most likely the result of attempts by pro-Russian individuals to prevent the Ukrainian singer from holding a charity concert. He asks not to return the tickets, because in this way, the show's attendees are helping Ukraine.

Earlier a charity performance by the leader of the Vopli Vidopliassova band was to take place in Zurich, but it was canceled due to the spread of pro-Kremlin propaganda about Oleh Skrypka in foreign media.
