Zelenskyy discusses Ukrainian peace formula with leaders from Canada, Indonesia in Japan
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Indonesian President Joko Widodo during the G7 summit in Hiroshima

During their conversation, Zelenskuyy discussed various topics with Trudeau, including further cooperation in security and defense, the situation on the front lines, the training of Ukrainian officers under the Canadian UNIFIER training mission, the importance of implementing all aspects of the Ukrainian peace formula, and Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.
Zelenskyy expressed his deep appreciation for Canada's strong support in resisting Russian aggression and emphasized the critical moment Ukraine is currently facing, calling for increased assistance from friendly countries like Canada.
Zelenskyy specifically thanked Trudeau and Canada for their valuable assistance in demining efforts in Ukrainian territories.
President Zelenskyy also mentioned his conversation with Joko Widodo, where the focus was on the shelling of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine and the need for support in returning illegally deported children. They also discussed the progress in implementing the Ukrainian peace formula, and Zelensky expressed gratitude to Widodo for inviting Ukraine to present the formula at the G20 summit in November 2022.

During the G7 summit in Japan on May 20, Zelenskyy had separate meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak of Great Britain, where they discussed the "coalition of fighter jets", as well as held talks with the Prime Ministers of Italy and India, President of France, and German Chancellor.
