This was reported by the Kremlin and Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying.
"At the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to Russia from March 20 to 22," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said.
During the meeting, the leaders of China and Russia will discuss topical issues related to the further development of partnership, strategic cooperation between Moscow and Beijing, and the deepening of Russian-Chinese cooperation.
The ministry also noted that during Xi Jinping's visit to Russia, the parties will hold talks based on the principles of non-confrontation and non-targeting of third parties, China will maintain an objective position on Ukraine and play a constructive role in advancing the negotiations.
