Usyk recognized as best world boxer
Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk has topped the updated ranking of the best boxers regardless of weight category

On May 22, ESPN published an updated ranking of the best P4P boxers (regardless of weight category). Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk became the new leader of the list.
WBC (World Boxing Council), WBA (World Boxing Association) and WBO (World Boxing Organization) welterweight champion Terence Crawford dropped to second place.
The absolute champion in the second lightweight division, Naoya Inoue, is now ranked 3rd.
Usyk also topped The Ring's P4P rating.
- On May 18, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by split decision and became the first heavyweight in history to win all four prestigious titles - according to the WBO, WBA, IBF and WBC.
- On May 20, Usyk's boxing license was suspended until July due to injuries he sustained in a fight against Fury.
