Germany hosts large-scale NATO drills on joint air operations
NATO has launched joint air exercises in Germany, aimed at strengthening cooperation between partner countries and exchanging experience in aviation and technical fields

About 60 fighter jets and other combat aircraft are involved in tactical exercises of the NATO Air Force, which take place at the German air base. About 1,100 military personnel from 11 NATO countries are taking part in the exercise.
At the same time, Austria and Switzerland joined the Tiger meet maneuvers at the Schleswig-Jagel airfield in the northern state of Schleswig-Holstein.
One of the largest NATO exercises in Europe will last until June 14.
- On May 2, large-scale NATO military exercises began in Sweden, as part of which they are practicing support for US troops as they move from Norway to Finland via Sweden.
