The Moldovan Foreign Ministry summoned Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov. Additionally, one of the embassy's staff members was declared persona non grata

The Ministry stated that the decision followed the receipt of information and evidence indicating that the Russian ambassador in Moldova was engaged in activities incompatible with diplomatic status.
As a result, the Russian embassy employee will leave Moldova.
- On July 31, officers of the Intelligence and Security Service, together with the prosecutor's office, conducted searches in the Moldovan parliament regarding the head of the department's espionage in favor of Russia. After that, two officials were detained.
