White House to host European leaders as Trump schedules call with Putin
U.S. President Donald Trump has announced that several European leaders will visit Washington early this week to discuss resolving Russia’s war against Ukraine and that he will hold a new talk with Russian leader Vladimir Putin

CNN reported the information.
“I am not thrilled with what’s happening there. I believe we’re going to get it settled. But I am not happy with them. I’m not happy with anything having to do with that war,” Trump commented on Russia’s attacks on Ukraine.
He added that he will hold a conversation with Putin “over the next couple of days.”
Meanwhile, the American president said that European leaders would visit the White House on Monday or Tuesday.
“Certain European leaders are coming over to our country on Monday or Tuesday and individually, and I think we’re going to get that settled,” Trump stated.
- On September 5, the President of the European Council António Costa stated that Europe’s team is going to Washington, where, together with the Americans, it will work on a new package of sanctions against Russia.
