Polish Deputy Foreign Minister stresses support for Ukraine in meeting with Li Hui
Chinese Special Representative Li Hui visits Warsaw and meets with Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Wladyslaw Bartoszewski. The parties discussed the war in Ukraine

The Polish official emphasized that Russia's aggression against Ukraine remains a key challenge to regional and global security. The deputy minister emphasized that "supporting the victims of the attack is not only a right but also a duty of all members of the international community, especially the permanent members of the UN Security Council."
Poland called on the Chinese side not to provide political, economic and military support to Russia as an aggressor.
The Polish side condemned Russia's threats to use nuclear weapons and the militarization of the temporarily occupied ZNPP. According to Warsaw, all this poses a danger not only to Eastern Europe but also to the world as a whole.
"Poland appreciates China's counteraction to Russian threats and looks forward to concrete actions, including to ensure nuclear safety in Ukraine, including at the International Atomic Energy Agency," the Polish Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Deputy Minister Bartoszewski also emphasized Russia's negative impact on the food security of developing countries.
On his part, Li Hui assured that China is not a party to the conflict and is not interested in prolonging the war. He emphasized China's readiness to promote peace and announced the continuation of consultations with international partners.
- Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry announced Li Hui's visits to Ukraine, Russia, and several European countries for talks on a "political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis."

On March 4, Li Hui visited Brussels to meet with the heads of the European External Action Service. The EU urged China to limit the supply of advanced technologies to Russia.
