Due to the Russian attack on Ukraine on March 29, British Ambassador Martin Harris was forced to spend the night in a bunker

He wrote about this in X.

This year, Western Rite Christians celebrate Easter on March 31. Today is Good Friday.

"Russia is stepping up its vile attacks on Ukraine’s cities and citizens this Easter. My Good Friday began in the bunker," the diplomat said.

He accompanied his post with a symbolic photo of a crucifix against the backdrop of a house destroyed by Russian occupying forces.

In turn, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, emphasized the need to provide military assistance to Ukraine as soon as possible.

"All night, Russia has ruthlessly launched missiles & drones against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure... Russia’s barbaric effort to take the power out for millions of men, women, and children continues unchecked. Our assistance is needed now," Brink emphasized.
