China urges NATO to stop blaming it for war in Ukraine
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian called on NATO to stop accusing China of involvement in the war in Ukraine
The outlet El Mundo reports on June 18.
Even though since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the strategic partnership between Russia and China has significantly strengthened, which has drawn criticism from the West, Beijing denies any accusations of helping Russia in the war against Ukraine.
In response to the statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, who accused Beijing of supporting Russia's war in Ukraine, China called on the Alliance to "do something specific to resolve the crisis politically."
"We call on NATO to stop blaming and sowing discord, not to add fuel to the fire, and to do something specific to resolve the crisis politically,” Jian said.
