White House says U.S. is focused on transferring air defense equipment to Ukraine

This was stated by the White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby during a press briefing in Washington, Ukrinform reports.

Kirby emphasized that thanks to the air defense systems provided to Ukraine not only by the United States, but also by its allies and partners, most of the cruise missiles launched at Ukrainian cities over the past 48-72 hours have been shot down.

"So we continue to focus on that," the White House official said.
