Ukraine to increase number of mobile air defense fire groups
On November 11, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with country's military leadership to receive updates on the frontline situation and ongoing efforts to strengthen the Armed Forces' defenses
He reported this on Telegram.
During the meeting, Zelenskyy was briefed on plans to boost air defense, including increasing the number of mobile fire groups in areas that are top targets for Russia.
“There was also a report on a comprehensive program to counter Russian combat aircraft. Promising technological solutions are in development,” the president said.

Zelenskyy was also briefed on the progress of Ukraine's missile program, including the development of its own guided bombs. Additionally, he was informed about Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi's decision to reinforce the most challenging sectors, such as Kurakhove and Pokrovsk. Meanwhile, in the Kursk region, Ukrainian forces continue to hold off a Russian group of nearly 50,000 troops just outside Ukraine's borders.
