We understand threats and prepare for them - Oleksiy Danilov on a possible new Russian offensive
National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov emphasized that the government understands a repeated offensive threat by Russian troops on Ukrainian territory and prepares hard. February 24 was much more difficult
He said this during a TV marathon.
It is known that 300,000 people have been summoned in Russia as part of the mobilization. 150 have already been sent to the front, and another 150 are being trained at various grounds in Russia and Belarus.
"We understand the threats and challenges facing our country. We are preparing for this very hard," he emphasized.
Every day, the President communicates with his foreign colleagues on military assistance. The work within our country is also ongoing, the NSDC Secretary said.
"This is a challenge for us, but we will withstand it, because, on February 24, 2022, it was much more difficult. Then we were face to face with the aggressor country. They did not believe in our victory and our ability to withstand the attack. Now the situation is completely different. Every week there is news from different parts of the world about helping Ukraine," Danilov added.
