Wars are not won by executing prisoners of war
Why doesn't the US Army cut off the heads of prisoners of war, castrate them, or gouge out their eyes? Because they don't want to be fought against to the last bullet
It is much more rational to take the enemy prisoner than to storm the fortifications and lose your soldiers.
The brutal execution of a Ukrainian prisoner of war, on the contrary, complicates the life of the Russian soldiers. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were not afraid of the invasion. They were not afraid of the enemy's multiple advantages in all types of weapons. They are not afraid of a severed head either. After watching this video, I feel not fear, but rage. Blind, beastly, and unbridled rage.
And they will think a thousand times before surrendering. Perhaps they will die. But not executed, but with arms in their hands. Having killed as many enemies as possible.
These seem like obvious things. So why do the Russians do it so stupidly?
The answer is very simple. They have no victories. They were driven out of Kyiv, out of Sumy, and out of Chernihiv. They were thrown back from Kharkiv. They were torn to pieces in Kherson. Their winter offensive advanced a couple of kilometers and turned into a zilch. How to respond to these humiliations of the largest army in Europe?

They respond with a victory over the prisoner. The brutal execution of the prisoner of war compensates the Taiga tribe for their defeat in the war. Teachers and doctors, IT professionals and entrepreneurs, students and pensioners watch a man's head being cut off and are proud of their empire of sadists and maniacs.
It's scary to imagine the torment of the executed. I am afraid for the mental state of millions of Ukrainians who have been shaken by this tragedy. But if we continue to speak without emotion, wars are not won by executing prisoners.
Perhaps this execution will raise the enthusiasm of the occupiers for a while. But it will be a Pyrrhic victory. Because by lulling their society with such "victories," the Russian command will not change the situation at the front in their favor.
The southern grouping of the occupying Russian forces is vulnerable and will be destroyed. It is only a matter of time. The L/DPR's mobilization resources are exhausted. The economy is bursting at the seams. Moscow's military-industrial complex is failing.
We will win and avenge every death, every gray hair of our women, every child's tear. Believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
