He made a statement on social media platforms.
“This systematic and constant nature of Russian strikes clearly indicates that Moscow despises the diplomatic efforts of partners. Putin does not even want to ensure a partial ceasefire,” the president stated.
According to him, new and tangible pressure must be applied to Russia to "put this war on a path toward ending."
Zelenskyy also noted that April 11 will mark one month since Russia's "no" to the U.S. ceasefire proposal: "Action must be taken as soon as possible. We are ready to work with all our partners in the U.S., Europe, and around the world in the most constructive way to achieve this much-needed result—a dignified and lasting peace."
- On the evening of April 1, the Russian occupying army launched strike drones at Ukraine. In a frontline community in the Zaporizhzhia region, there are casualties, including one dead and several wounded. People were also injured in Kharkiv, including children.
