
Russian drone attack on Ukraine kills one in Zaporizhzhia, injures 9-month-old in Kharkiv

At 0:19 a.m., Kharkiv Regional Head Oleh Syniehubov reported explosions in Kharkiv, followed by more blasts.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov confirmed multiple drone strikes, with fires observed in the Kholodnohirskyi district.
"Kharkiv is under a massive Russian drone attack — at least 15 explosions have been heard. The threat of further strikes remains. Stay in shelters!" Syniehubov warned.
A Shahed drone hit a private house, igniting fires over 1,500 square meters across two buildings.
At least eight people were injured, including a 9-month-old boy. An entire family also experienced an acute stress reaction: a 51-year-old woman, a 53-year-old man, a 16-year-old girl, and a 7-year-old boy.
Emergency services report 15 Russian strikes targeting enterprises producing sleds and polypropylene, causing large-scale fires.
Attack on Zaporizhzhia region
"One person has been killed in a Russian drone strike on a frontline community in the Zaporizhzhia region," the Regional Military Administration reported.
The head of the Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, stated that two others were wounded in the attack. The Russian drone targeted cars parked near a residential building.
"A 45-year-old man was killed, while two others — a 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman — were injured," Fedorov confirmed.
