U.S. sanctions ICC Prosecutor Karim Khan who issued Putin arrest warrant
On February 13, the United States officially imposed sanctions on International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan, who issued an arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin

The sanctions were introduced as part of the restrictions related to the ICC.
Washington’s measures will freeze Khan’s U.S.-based assets and ban him and his family members from entering the United States.
- Earlier, Reuters reported that Karim Khan, the ICC prosecutor who issued the arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, became the first individual to face economic sanctions and travel restrictions initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump.
