This is reported by the Russian propaganda media outlet RIA Novosti.
"As for Kharkiv, there are no such plans as of today," Putin said.
According to him, the invading Russian army “is forced to create a sanitary zone in the situation with the shelling of residential areas in Belgorod.”
"They are shooting right in the center of the city, in residential neighborhoods. And I said publicly that if this continues, we will have to create a security zone - a sanitary zone," the dictator added.
- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that the Russian army has advanced no more than 10 km in the Kharkiv sector.
