Partisans killed a Russian policeman in Melitopol

On the morning of April 27, an explosion occurred in the center of the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. Collaborator Oleksandr Mischenko was injured and died in hospital. The information was confirmed by Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov and the National Resistance Center.

“This is how the career of 42-year-old Oleksandr Mishchenko, who betrayed Ukraine and worked as a bodyguard for local gauleiter, ended in infamy. Officially, he worked in the fake 'Ministry of Internal Affairs' as a deputy chief for personnel. Along with the policeman, his 'colleague' Yuriy Akimov was injured and is now in hospital in serious condition.”

UOC-MP deprived of right to use land in Chernivtsi

Deputies of the Chernivtsi City Council deprived the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) of the right to use 22 land plots in the community. The relevant decision was made at a session of the city council on Thursday, April 28, according to the mayor of Chernivtsi Roman Klichuk.

28 members voted in favor. The decision was supported unanimously.

“At a session of the city council, the deputies unanimously voted to deprive the UOC-MP of the right to use more than twenty land plots in the community. This is a logical and correct step. I believe that our actions will be an incentive for people to move to the Ukrainian churches. Let's free Ukraine from the occupiers on all fronts! This is the only way to become free,” Klichuk said.

In Kherson region, partisans eliminate occupying forces who abused the local population

The ATESH guerrilla movement announced the launch of operation Ukrainian Night and the first results.

On the night of April 26-27, in the village of Velyki Kopani, Oleshky district, partisans killed two invaders. The liquidated Russians regularly intimidated the locals, but they were paid the price.

More than 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine by NATO and partners have been delivered

These are more than 1,500 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and other equipment and ammunition.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said this on Thursday during a meeting with Prime Minister of Luxembourg Xavier Bettel.

“Overall, through the US-led Contact Group, NATO Allies and partners have provided unprecedented support to Ukraine. More than 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine have already been delivered. This means more than 1,550 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and other equipment, including a huge amount of ammunition. In total, we have trained and equipped more than 9 new Ukrainian armored brigades. This will give Ukraine a strong position to continue to retake the occupied territory,” the NATO Secretary General said.

Ukraine’s PM met with the Pope in the Vatican

Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on Telegram.

He noted that he had told the Pope how Ukrainians are forced to fight for their lives every day in the war unleashed by Russia.

“We appreciate the efforts of the Holy See to end the war and believe that the best way to peace is the formula of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. We hope that the Vatican will join in its implementation, in particular, in the process of returning prisoners of war and deportees, restoring justice and ending the war. I invited Pope Francis to Ukraine. We will be glad to welcome the Pontiff in these difficult times. We hope that the Holy See will use its influence to bring peace to all our lands,” Shmyhal wrote.
