US will not prevent European partners from supplying F-16s to Ukraine
The Biden administration has informed allies in Europe that the US will allow them to supply American F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine

CNN reported the information, citing its sources.
According to the outlet, the White House is currently unaware of any official requests from allies to transfer F-16s to Ukraine, and US Department of State officials, who are usually tasked with preparing documents to approve such a transfer, have not been instructed to begin work.
The reason for the authorization, according to journalists, was pressure from representatives of the US Congress and allies, which is growing due to the intensification of Russian air attacks.
Despite the fact that the US is reluctant to send its F-16s to Ukraine, officials told CNN that the Biden administration is ready to approve the export of the aircraft if the allies decide to do so.
