US sees no signs of American weapons export from Ukraine — Pentagon
No evidence of US-provided weapons export outside of Ukraine was found
This was stated by Celeste Wallander, Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security, Radio Svoboda reports.
"Instead, we see that Ukrainian units effectively use military assistance on the battlefield every day," she said.
According to Wallander, the US has adjusted its reporting methods to avoid the risk of illegal weapons proliferation.
A high-ranking Pentagon official, Douglas Sims, also stated that there are no signs of the export of American weapons from Ukraine.
Earlier, China claimed that the weapons provided by the USA to Ukraine are being smuggled into Europe.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine rejected such assumptions, stating that Ukraine "has a modern and effective multi-level control system over the acquisition and use of weapons, which is highly trusted by partners and excludes any possibility of illegal export of weapons."
