US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink comments on missile attack on Kyiv
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink noted that despite the Russian attack, Ukraine continues to stand firm, and missile terror is a sign of Russian strategic failure
"Another morning spent sheltering from Russia’s missiles, another reminder of Russia’s strategic failure in Ukraine. As its forces suffer heavy losses on the battlefield, Russia continues to bombard cities and civilian infrastructure. Ukraine stands strong. So will we," Brink wrote on Twitter.
According to the diplomat, after the Russian attack on Ukrainian cities, the US prioritized support for Ukrainian air defense specialists.
"Russia continues its desperate assault on Ukraine’s cities and people this afternoon. This is exactly why we prioritized support to Ukraine’s expert air defenders and keep working in lockstep to deliver what Ukraine needs on the battlefield and across the country," Brink added.
