Andrii Kovalov, spokesman for the AFU General Staff, said this during the telethon.

“The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct both defensive and offensive actions despite the enemy's air and artillery superiority. Our soldiers have partial success. Where Ukrainian soldiers are defending themselves, not a single position has been lost,” he said.

The spokesman also added that Ukrainian Armed Forces units successfully conducted offensive actions in the following areas: Novodanylivka - Robotyne and Lyvadne - Staromaiorske.

“We had success near the town of Vuhledar, Ukrainian soldiers were successful in certain areas. In the course of assault operations, they are consolidating their positions. Ukrainian Armed Forces units successfully conducted offensive actions in the area east of Stupochky in the Donetsk region. They pushed the occupying Russian forces out of their positions,” he emphasized.

In addition, Kovalov added that the Russian troops are suffering losses on the battlefield: all medical facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine are overcrowded, and the enemy has begun to equip civilian medical facilities close to the border with Russia as medical centers.

In particular, in the village of Cherneshka, Belgorod region, the Russian forces equipped a local hospital as a military one, and over 400 enemy soldiers are being treated there.

  • On the morning of June 15, Andrii Kovalov, spokesman for the AFU General Staff, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had succeeded in storming the Rozdolivka-Krasnopolivka and Berkhivka-Yahidne directions, near Bakhmut, and that fighting was ongoing in the Berdiansk and Mariupol sectors.

  • Instead, Brigadier General Oleksii Hromov, deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the AFU General Staff, reported that the Defense Forces were advancing on the eastern and southern frontlines. They managed to advance up to 1 km near Vuhledar, Donetsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 7 villages were liberated over the week.
