The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this.
“Good news. This afternoon our soldiers shot down a Russian Mi-24 helicopter. We will survive and win,” the military wrote.
There are no details on the unit and the area where it was shot down.
Also on May 22, a soldier of the 24th Detached Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo destroyed an enemy Mi-24 attack helicopter.
On June 21, Ukrainian military spokesman Andrii Kovaliov said that Ukrainian troops eliminated a group of Russian paratroopers who were on their way to Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region for rotation. As a result, many occupying Russian troops were killed and some were injured.
