Ukrainian forces destroy Russian paratroopers on their way to Klishchiivka for rotation - General Staff
Ukrainian troops have destroyed many Russian paratroopers on their way to Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region for rotation
Andriy Kovalov, spokesman for the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff, said this during the telethon.
“Units from the occupying 83rd Air Assault Brigade of the Russian Federation Airborne Forces have been tasked to move to the area of Klishchiivka, Donetsk region, to replace the soldiers from the 31st Air Assault Brigade, who suffered significant losses in battles with the Ukrainian Defense Forces,” the spokesman said.
According to Kovalov, the Ukrainian military, during the rotation of the occupying Russian forces to the first line of defense, struck them with fire.
The strike killed many of the invaders, and some were injured. They were evacuated by helicopters to Rostov-on-Don. Due to the lack of space, the Russian troops were moved to trucks and taken to Novocherkassk, where medical facilities were also overcrowded.
