Ukrainian Air Force destroys 2 Russian Ka-52 helicopters, 12 drones in one day
On the night of June 18, Ukraine's Air Force destroyed two Russian Ka-52 attack helicopters, four Iranian Shahed-136/131 drones, 7 reconnaissance UAVs, and one Lancet drone
This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"On June 17 and the beginning of June 18, 2023, the Air Force's air defense successfully destroyed two enemy Ka-52 attack helicopters, four Iranian attack UAVs called Shahed-136/131, and one Lancet,” the message reads.
The message states that the Air Force's air defense, in collaboration with other components of Ukraine's Defense Forces, also eliminated seven enemy operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs such as Orlan-10, Orlan-30, Zala, and Supercam.
The Air Force's aviation conducted numerous aircraft sorties to inflict damage on the enemy and provide fighter cover. Over twenty airstrikes targeted the enemy's positions, equipment, supply lines, and concentrations of troops.

On June 16, the Air Force decided to report threats independently through their official Telegram channel. This decision was made after some publications disclosed sensitive information about the movements of Russian drones or missile flights in Ukraine.
