Ukrainian soldiers reveal number of Russian aircraft destroyed in Bakhmut
Ukraine's Defense Forces have eliminated Russian warplanes and helicopters worth USD 100 million
The Ukrainian National Guard's press service reported this.
In the Bakhmut area, the anti-aircraft missile division of the Spartan National Guard Brigade destroyed enemy aircraft and helicopters worth about USD 100 million.
“In Bakhmut, the Russian forces used mostly attack aircraft, bombers, and attack helicopters of various classes. They mostly acted at night. We shot down four airplanes and two helicopters. One was a Su-24 and three were Su-25. Two of the helicopters were Mi-24s. Sometimes the equipment we hit falls on the territory controlled by the enemy. Then we cannot verify it. But I think that our division has already done about USD 100 million worth of work. This applies to confirmed targets,” a National Guard officer with the pseudonym Partyzan said.
The Spartan Brigade's anti-aircraft missile unit has now returned from Bakhmut and is on combat duty in the Kharkiv direction. The soldiers continue to track enemy air targets, including Iranian Shahed-136 UAVs.
