Ukrainian soldiers get most injuries from landmines - volunteer Korchynska
Volunteer Oksana Korchynska says that in recent weeks Ukrainian soldiers have received most injuries as a result of mine incidents
She said this on Espreso TV.
“Unfortunately, the number of our soldiers' injuries has increased due to the fact that they have to move through a minefield. The temporarily occupied territory is completely mined by Russians. Our guys are taking very difficult redoubts. That is why, unfortunately, the number of wounded with amputated limbs has increased. The last two weeks have been very difficult. Our young, strong men with such injuries were brought to us,” said Korchynska.
The volunteer added that thanks to charitable foundations, the stabilization points on the frontline are fully supplied with everything they need.
“Luckily, our doctors have managed to save a lot of lives in recent weeks. And I was very worried about how we would be able to provide everything needed for the stabilization centers. However, I want to tell you with great gratitude that thanks to our benefactors, even the stabilization centers at the brigade level are fully equipped with everything they need,” she added.
