Ukrainian Prime Minister and First Lady arrive in London for coronation of Charles III
On May 5, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and First Lady Olena Zelenska arrived in London to take part in events marking the coronation of Charles III

Shmyhal announced this on Telegram.
"We are starting to work in London. A number of meetings are planned to strengthen relations with one of our key allies. Together with the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, we will take part in official events on the occasion of the coronation of His Majesty Charles III," he wrote.
"We look forward to strengthening comprehensive support for Ukraine and increasing sanctions pressure on Russia," the Prime Minister added.
The ceremony will take place on May 6. Charles will be crowned together with his wife, Queen Consort Camilla. The UK did not invite the leaders of Russia, Belarus and 5 other countries to the event.

Charles' mother Queen Elizabeth II died in September 2022 at the age of 97.
