Ukrainian missile troops, artillery target 10 Russian artillery vehicles in a day - General Staff

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this. 

Russia launched 39 air and one missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine

They also fired 24 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

25 combat engagements took place over the day in the main frontline areas.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected. 

At the same time, the Russian army continued shelling the entire border line with mortars and artillery: over 10 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions were attacked. 

The situation in other sectors is as follows:

Russian attacks in other Ukrainian regions

• In the Kupyansk direction, 4 settlements of the Kharkiv region came under artillery shelling. 

• In the Lyman direction, over 10 settlements in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under Russian fire. 

• In the Bakhmut direction, over 10  localities in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces. 

• In the Avdiivka direction, more than 5 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked. 

• In the Maryinka direction, over 5 settlements in the Donetsk region came under shelling. 

• In the Shakhtarsk direction, over 10 localities in the Donetsk region were shelled. 

• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 19 towns and villages were subjected to numerous attacks by the occupying Russian army. 

At the same time, the Ukrainian army continues to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol sector, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery operations.

• An explosion occurred in the village of Kinski Rozdory in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia, in a cafe where Russian occupation forces were resting and storing their ammunition.
