Ukrainian military will clear entire Russian rear at counteroffensive’s start - Feygin
A massive strike by the Ukrainian Defense Forces at the beginning of the counteroffensive should make it impossible for the Russian army to resist
This was stated by Russian opposition politician Mark Feygin on Espreso TV.
"Most likely, they are afraid of the preparatory part of the offensive, because we do not know where it will begin – whether Ukrainian forces will land on the Kinburn Spit, or go to Tokmak, and through Tokmak to Melitopol, no one knows. But it is known that there will be fire support, and Ukraine has now accumulated large resources, donated by the West, of course, to provide it in the direction of the attack, which means that nothing will be left there. Everything will go downhill, and we have to admit that artillery, M155s, and HIMARS are extremely effective. This weapon has proven to be highly effective since last August. And if there are more of these weapons, and judging by what is even breaking through as information, they have increased many times over," he said.
Feygin drew attention to how military experts say in propaganda broadcasts that the Russian military should beware of such possibilities.
"Once they start, nothing will be left alive. All the combat centers and headquarters will be destroyed. And since the Americans are involved in planning an offensive, this is their signature style: whether in Iraq or anywhere else, they always act this way. First, everything must be cleared, the enemy must have nothing left, a massive missile and bomb attack must make it impossible to resist. I think that this is most likely how the counteroffensive operation will take place, and it is quite possible that they will start shelling one unit, the Russian side will rush there, try to hold back the counteroffensive, provide defense, and something will happen in a completely unexpected place, a landing somewhere. That's why I think they are nervous, and their psychological state is somewhat depressed," the opposition leader summarized.
