Ukrainian intelligence reports on number of Russian troops in Belarus

There are almost 6,000 Russian troops on the territory of Belarus, the second mechanised division has now moved to Russian territory

Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Vadym Skibitskyi, reports.

"Today, on the territory of Belarus, ground component consists of 5,800 servicemen. Second mechanized division has now moved to Russian territory, including already entered territory of Ukraine. This is Luhansk region. Now units of sixth division, units of territorial troops are entering there for training. This is a completely different contingent, which was at the beginning of aggression. There is no powerful aviation component there, despite training, there is no powerful missile component there, there are no airborne troops," Skibitskyi noted.

According to a representative of military intelligence, today there is one "Iskander" division, S-300, S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems and three MIG-31 aircraft on the territory of Belarus.
