Ukrainian intelligence noticed flight of occupation officials' families and Special Service officers from Crimea - Andriy Yusov
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the press service of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, noted that after the de-occupation of Kherson, the Russian forces understand that it is necessary to prepare first for defensive operations and then for "gestures of goodwill"
He told about this on the air of Espreso channel.
Andriy Yusov commented on the Russian forces' preparation for defense in Crimea.
"The enemy is preparing and building fortifications, as we saw earlier near Kherson, and is also now equipping not only the left bank of the Dnipro river in the Kherson region and the occupied territories of Ukraine but even the territory of Russia itself, in particular the Belgorod region. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to have a strategic initiative. After the de-occupation of Kherson, the enemy understands that it is necessary to prepare first for defensive operations, and then for "gestures of goodwill", said the representative of the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine
Andriy Yusov explained that the Russian forces' defensive measures will not influence the result, even if they make ditches with crocodiles and build amazing fortifications of the early XX-century model. What the enemy is doing now resembles fortifications from the first World War.
"After all, time and the situation have changed, now there are different weapons, and the Ukrainian army is a modern army, unlike the Russian one. Accordingly, Russians can occupy themselves with anything during this period, but this will change the result. It should also be noted that in addition to the construction of fortifications, other processes are taking place in Crimea. For example, the flight of Russian families of occupation officials or high-ranking officers, in particular the special services. That is, they are preparing for the offensive of the Ukrainian forces, and not so much for defense in the political sense, but for the inevitable liberation of the occupied territories, including Crimea," Yusov stressed.
