The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported the information.
"On the night of January 4, guerrillas in Russia once again stopped the movement of civilian trains and military echelons on the Trans-Siberian Railway section near Krasnoyarsk," the Defence Intelligence writes.
In just four days of 2023, this is at least the 6th case of signaling, centralization and blocking units destruction on the railway in different regions of Russia, which leads to disruptions in the movement of military echelons.
Last year, about 40 such cases were recorded, including the destruction of railway power transformers and locomotives.
"A significant intensification of railway guerrillas in Russia took place after the Putin regime announced partial mobilization," the Defence Intelligence stressed.
- On the morning of December 29, 2022, explosions were heard in the Belgorod region, Russia, local authorities said it was an air defense operation. On the same day, an air raid alert was declared in Engels, Russia, near the Russian strategic aviation airfield, followed by several explosions.
- Also, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that in the morning of January 2, the power supply facility in Klimovo district was attacked. He accused Ukraine of a drone attack.
- On the night of January 2, Russian forces allegedly shot down a "Ukrainian reconnaissance drone" near the Baltimor airfield in Voronezh, Russia, where Su-34 bombers are based.
- On January 3, the National Resistance Center under the AFU Special Operations Forces reported that Russia is planning a wave of mobilization on the occupied territories of southern Ukraine.
