Ukrainian forces destroy one Russian cruise missile and 20 Shahed drones during another night attack

This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Between 00:20 and 04:30 on June 15, 2023, the Russian troops launched missiles and drones to attack Ukraine. They used Kh-101/Kh-555 air-based cruise missiles and Shahed-136/131 attack drones.

According to the report, “four Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were launched from the Caspian Sea by four Tu-95MS strategic aircraft. One of the missiles was destroyed, but the others hit industrial facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The local military administrations will provide updates on the strike's consequences.”

Additionally, the enemy launched 20 Shahed attack drones from the northern and southern directions. However, all of these drones were destroyed by the Air Force in the South and East Air Commands' areas of responsibility. Furthermore, an enemy UAV conducting aerial reconnaissance in the eastern direction was also destroyed.

• During the night of June 15, there were explosions heard by residents in the Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa regions. In the Odesa region, the air defense forces successfully shot down 13 Shahed drones.
