Ukrainian flag waves on Dnipro's left bank near Antonivka Bridge

"Yesterday, on August 28, our Armed Forces put up a Ukrainian flag in the area of summer cottages on the left bank of the Dnipro River near the Antonivka Bridge. This is a symbol that the occupying Russian forces will not be able to hold on to Dnipro's left bank in the Kherson region," said the deputy of the Kherson Regional Council.
Serhiy Khlan added that such actions of Ukrainian defenders emphasize their presence and that the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region will be liberated.

On August 28, the Russian military attacked the village of Sadove, Kherson region. The shelling killed a local resident and hospitalized another man.
- On August 29, a report by the General Staff stated that in the Kherson sector, the enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Mykolaivka and Olhivka. Artillery shelling hit 5 more settlements. At the same time, the Ukrainian forces continue to conduct an offensive in the Melitopol sector, consolidating their positions and carrying out counter-battery operations.
