Russia loses 530 soldiers, 14 tanks, and 4 cruise missiles in one day – General Staff
The occupation administration informed local residents of Chaplynka in the Kherson region that they must obtain Russian passports by September 1. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian army has lost 261,840 soldiers

In Chaplynka, Kherson region, occupiers demand that residents receive Russian passports by September 1
In Chaplynka, the occupying administration has ordered local residents to get Russian passports by September 1 this year. If they don't comply, the occupiers threaten to seize their property.
Since August 23 this year, the invaders have been conducting raids to force people out of their homes without proper registration and taking over their belongings.
Russians carried out 47 air strikes and 39 MLRS attacks against Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched 8 missiles and 47 air attacks, along with 39 MLRS attacks on Ukrainian troops' positions and civilian areas. This resulted in casualties among civilians due to Russian attacks. Homes, schools, and other important structures were destroyed.
The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Situation in different regions of Ukraine
In the previous 24 hours, there were 32 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the Russian army.
In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.
In the northeastern border area, Russian troops launched air strikes on three settlements in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 25 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
- In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 3 settlements across the Kharkiv region. Two areas suffered from air strikes.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled 10 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Five areas were subjected to air strikes.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Russians shelled over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Three areas were subjected to air strikes.
- In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements with artillery, and Avdiivka suffered from air strikes.
- In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled 6 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery. Ukrainian forces hold the defense near Marinka. Two areas were subjected to air strikes.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled 7 settlements and launched air strikes near 3 settlements.
- In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops shelled over 30 settlements across Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Five areas were subjected to air strikes.
- Meanwhile, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue their offensive operation in Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. They are holding their positions and countering enemy attacks.
AFU hit 2 command posts, an anti-aircraft system, and 2 artillery systems in firing position
Over the past day, the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted 8 airstrikes on enemy troop concentrations, 1 on a command post, and 3 on the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.
Furthermore, missile units and artillery targeted 2 command posts, 1 anti-aircraft defense device, and 2 artillery installations at the enemy's firing position.
