Ukrainian defense forces destroy Russian tank from long distance
The Ukrainian Western Military Command shows how artillery destroys a Russian tank at a distance of 19 km (almost 12 miles)
Army Colonel Anatoliy Shtefan shared footage of the destruction of Russian equipment on social media.
Some media suggested that the Ukrainian military could have hit the Russian vehicles with the German SMArt 155 mm. The projectile has two submunitions that separate after the shot and "search" for an armored target.
- On October 31, the Kyiv Assault Brigade posted a video showing a column of Russian tanks trying to break through to Ukrainian military positions near Klishchiivka, south of Bakhmut, but came under artillery fire.
