Ukrainian artillerymen turn Russian equipment into scrap metal near Bakhmut
A column of Russian tanks tried to break through to the positions of Ukrainian soldiers near Klishchiivka, south of Bakhmut, but came under artillery fire
This was reported by the 5th Detached Kyiv Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Every day, looking at the numbers of destroyed enemy vehicles, we rejoice and understand that Russian occupiers have one less tank or infantry fighting vehicle, which means that Victory is one day closer," the brigade said.
"But behind every figure in the dry statistics is the hard work of the Ukrainian professional artillerymen, UAV operators and gunners who are risking their lives every day to bring the much-desired Victory closer," the military added.
