Ukrainian army launches 12 strikes on Russian military positions, shoots down 14 drones
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation launched 12 strikes against invading Russian troops' military positions, and the Ukrainian Army shot down 2 Supercam UAVs, 6 Orlan-10 UAVs and 6 Zala UAVs
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported this on April 9.
It is also noted that the missile and artillery units hit 2 manpower concentration areas, 1 munitions depot, 1 air defense position, as well as 5 enemy electronic warfare stations.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 4 missile and 40 air strikes at Ukrainian military positions
“Over the past day, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes, 40 airstrikes, as well as 58 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure of the settlements,” the report says.
It is also noted that the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions.
Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus, the situation hasn't changed significantly, and no enemy offensive groups have been detected.
At the same time, the Russian Federation continued shelling the entire line of contact: one settlement in the Chernihiv region, 6 more in the Sumy region, as well as eight villages in the Kharkiv region came under attack.
In the Kupiansk direction, 9 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy shelling.
In the Lyman direction, 10 settlements came under Russian artillery shelling.
In the Bakhmut direction, over 15 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy attacks.
In the Avdiivka and Marinka directions, 13 localities in the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, 8 settlements in the Donetsk region were attacked by the invading Russian forces.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, over 40 localities near the frontline came under the Russian forces' attack.
In the temporarily occupied Kherson region, Russian military checks the local residents' phones for 'banned' content
“Occupying Russian forces continue to strengthen the counterintelligence and police regime in the temporarily occupied Kherson region,” the report says.
In the Hornostaivskyi district of the Kherson region, raids continue to check personal phones of the local population for photos and videos, as well as 'prohibited' content. During such checks, the occupying troops record personal data of local residents and selectively search their homes.
