Ukrainian Armed Forces strike 8 times at Russian troops' concentration areas and shoot down two planes - General Staff

According to the information, the enemy launched 9 missile attacks on settlements in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, there were 27 air strikes during the day. In addition, it fired 79 times from multiple launch rocket systems.

The enemy continues to advance in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, despite numerous losses on their side. In the Kupyansk sector, it conducted unsuccessful offensives, all enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Lyman, Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is on the defensive.

Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled occupants' attacks in the vicinity of the settlements: Chervonopopivka, Luhansk region; Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Sil, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Novobakhmutivka, Krasnohorivka, Vodiane, and Marinka, Donetsk region.

Shelling of the regions of Ukraine:

The Russian aggressor does not stop shelling the settlements along the contact line. The areas of Buchky, Mykhalchyna Sloboda (Chernihiv region), Novovasylivka, Kozache, Sopych, Kucherivka were shelled with the full range of artillery. Civilians were killed. 6 settlements in Sumy region and 11 in Kharkiv region.

Kupyansk direction: Russian forces shelled the vicinities of 6 settlements in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivs’ke and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk region).

Lyman direction: the vicinities of Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Kreminna, Dibrova, and Kuzmyne (Luhansk region) came under enemy fire.

Bakhmut direction: Spirne, Vyimka, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, Maiors’k, and New York were shelled.

Avdiivka direction: Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Krasnohorivka, Mar’inka, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk region) came under enemy fire.

Novopavlivka direction: Mykilske, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Neskuchne, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk region) suffered enemy attacks.

Zaporizhzhia direction: Komyshuvakha, Donetsk region and 5 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region were subject to artillery attacks.

Kherson direction: Russian forces keep targeting the civilian population. Antonivka and Kherson came under MLRS fire.

According to the General Staff, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 8 strikes on the enemy's manpower, weapons and military equipment concentration areas over the past day, as well as a strike on the position of an anti-aircraft missile system.

Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders shot down 2 Russian Su-25 aircraft, a Ka-52 helicopter, an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle and 2 X-59 guided missiles.

Ukrainian Defense Forces missile and artillery units hit 3 occupants' concentration areas and a logistics depot the previous day.
