Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks in Bakhmut, Vyimka, Mayorsk and Novomykhailivka

Russians try to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrate their efforts on attempts to disrupt the active operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain directions, and do not stop attempts to conduct offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. Russians regroup units in separate areas.

"Ukrainian positions along the contact line are being shelled, Russians carry out remote mining of the territory in certain directions and conduct aerial reconnaissance. They strike civilian infrastructure and the homes of civilians, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war," the message says.

Russian occupying forces have launched 5 missiles and 8 air strikes, and fired more than 65 rounds of anti-aircraft fire in the last 24 hours. Objects and the civilian population of more than thirty settlements were damaged by Russian strikes. Among them are Bila Tserkva, Kupyansk, Belogorivka, Siversk, Karlivka, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Gulyaipole, Progress, Nikopol and Myrne.

There remains the threat of air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine.

There are no significant changes in the situation in the Volyn and Poliske directions.  In other directions, Russia carried out shelling:

in the Seversky direction - in Rozhkovychi and Fotovizh settlements of the Sumy region;

in the Slobozhansky direction - in settlements of Uda, Veterinarne, Strelecha, Krasne, Ohirtseve, Hlyboke, Neskuchne, and Milovena;

in the Kramatorsk direction - near Verkhnokamyansky, Ivanivka, Serebryanka, and Spirnogon;

in the Bakhmut direction - in settlements of Bilogorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Odradivka, Mayorsk, New York and Yuryivkana;

in the Avdiivka direction - in settlements of Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodyane, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka.

On the Novopavlivskyi and Zaporizhzhia directions, Russians shelled Novopil, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Shakhtarske, Zolota Niva, Poltavka, Gulyaipole, Chervone, Pavlivka, Gulyaipilske, Dorozhnyanka and Novoukrayinka.

In the Southern Bug direction, Russians continue to regroup and withdraw their units.  More than 30 settlements along the contact line were shelled with tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. In particular, Velyke Artakove, Biloghirka, Blagodativka, Andriivka, Pervomaiske, Lyubomirivka, Soldatske, Pravdyne, Myrne and Oleksandrivka.

Units of Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in Vyimka, Soledar, Odradivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Krasnohorivka, Mayorsk and Novomykhailivka in the last 24 hours.

Aviation of Ukrainian Defense Forces made more than fifteen strikes. The defeat of twelve Russian areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as four anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed. In addition, nine Russian drones were shot down.

Ukrainian missile forces and artillery hit two Russian control points, fourteen areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition depot, as well as eight other important Russian facilities in the last 24 hours.
