Ukrainian armed forces manage to have fewer losses while advancing due to proper organization — military expert Zgurets
Serhiy Zgurets, the director of Defense Express and a military expert, pointed out that the actions of the Ukrainian army are not causing as many losses as it is expected during the offensive
He stated this on Espreso.
"Today's destruction of 100 enemies is a positive sign. It shows that the losses on the attacking side during offensive actions by the Armed Forces have a different ratio. Commanders of the 3rd and 5th Assault Brigades emphasize that by organizing offensive orders effectively, using artillery and mortars to destroy the enemy, and executing assault actions, a different outcome can be achieved. Previously, it was believed that the attacking side would suffer 3-5 times more losses than the defending side. However, the situation has now reversed,” he said.
The military expert also noted that the actions of the Ukrainian army are challenging the previous statistical estimates of losses during offensives in certain areas.
